Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Manager for technical, core shopping data science to define how shopping quality is measured and operationalized across customer experiences.

You will shape quality measurement for search results, Homepage, and Detail Page, building a repeatable audit loop with offline and LLM-based evaluation, and integrate signals into online systems and roadmaps so they can influence ranking decisions.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with end to end product delivery and engineering discussions about technology decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the standard for metric definitions, annotation SOPs, and automated measurement approaches.
• Own the portfolio of shopping quality metrics and expand to new defect classes.
• Define sampling strategy, audit cadence, anecdote review, and systematic inspection of pages viewed by customers.
• Convert qualitative input into quantified metrics in partnership with UX Research and leadership.
• Specify audit criteria and oversee corrections in SOPs or LLM prompts.
• Drive online measurement by embedding quality signals into online evaluation and serving paths.
• Collaborate with central platform teams to embed metrics into evaluation pipelines.
• Advocate for online signals to accelerate decisions and enable faster detection of regressions.
• Develop a multi-year roadmap for shopping quality measurement and inspection.
