The Safety & Customer Care (SCC) team ensures riders & drivers can resolve issues efficiently, helping them get back on the road. SCC is vital in delivering Lyft’s strategy by honoring our commitments to customers and ensuring a safe, seamless, and delightful experience for our community of drivers and riders.

Responsibilities:
  1. Leverage AI technology to enhance customer and internal agent experiences.
  2. Define and communicate a shared vision and strategy for your product area to motivate your team and stakeholders.
  3. Set goals, success metrics, and roadmaps; lead cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, data scientists, marketers, and operations.
  4. Own your products end-to-end, from ideation through development, launch, and growth.
  5. Clearly communicate roadmaps, priorities, and decisions across diverse audiences.
Experience:
  • 5+ years in product management, design, or equivalent consulting roles.
  • Passion for Lyft’s mission in sustainable urban transportation.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies; define and analyze success metrics.
  • Strong judgment and understanding of product ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication skills tailored to various audiences.
  • Experience with post-launch optimization and testing strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders efficiently.
  • Superior organizational skills for balancing deadlines and requests.

The expected base pay range in San Francisco is $148,000 - $185,000, dependent on experience and location. Total compensation may include bonuses and equity.
