Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together. The Company’s three core products are Snapchat, a visual messaging app that enhances your relationships with friends, family, and the world; Lens Studio, an augmented reality platform that powers AR across Snapchat and other services; and its AR glasses, Spectacles.

The Product team uses creativity, insights, and operational excellence to steer our product vision across Snap. Our designers, data scientists, and product managers work in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that unite our community in new and unique ways.

  • Define goals and own performance against key business metrics for community safety and compliance, and proactively drive accountability towards those goals
  • Evolve continuously — constantly identify and size new opportunities to improve these features via data insights, user research, and design thinking.
  • Drive the team’s roadmaps and execution end-to-end — from planning processes to design to development and through launch, authoring excellent documentation and sharing insights and results throughout the company

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Highly impact-focused, with a demonstrated history of leading teams to deliver concrete results
  • Detail oriented leader who can dive deep into every project on the team’s roadmap when needed
  • Outstanding communication skills and extremely comfortable conveying complex topics to a diverse array of stakeholders
  • Ability to navigate a complex product area and gain buy-in from executives
  • Extremely proactive with the ability to initiate and implement complex projects with minimal guidance
  • Ability to collaborate and build trust with engineers, operations, data science and other cross-functional teammates
  • Ability to think creatively and approach problems with system-level thinking

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 5+ years of product management at a consumer or enterprise technology company
  • 2+ years of domain experience working in trust & safety, anti-abuse, or regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience writing complex SQL, and doing descriptive and predictive analytics.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related fields
  • A passion for Snapchat!

If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some information.
