Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) in Atlanta seeks a Senior Product Manager in the Quantitative Research Department to bridge business, quantitative, and technology teams for new product capabilities and risk enhancements.

You will convert complex problems into precise requirements and partner with Quantitative, Business Analysts, and Technology to bring solutions to production, leveraging SQL/Python/Excel/R for data validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in Product Management, Business or Systems Analysis in trading/banking/clearing.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to interpret quantitative methods.
• Data-analysis skills; familiar with SQL or database tools; working knowledge of Python, Excel, and R.
• Technical fluency with service-based architectures, event-driven systems, containers, CI/CD, and modern UI/server-side tech.

Responsibilities

• Shape and communicate product requirements and workflows across Business, Quantitative, and Technology stakeholders.
• Own functional specifications (use cases, activity diagrams, UI schematics, business rules, process flows).
• Translate high‑level needs and prototypes into implementable solutions aligned with risk workflows and data‑driven systems.
• Contribute to roadmap discussions and prioritization through structured analysis and crisp problem definitions.
• Define requirements for internal tooling (dashboards, validation utilities, workflow enhancements).
• Align functional requirements with technical ecosystems (APIs/microservices, event streaming, data integrations).
• Support quality outcomes through documentation reviews, release readiness, testing support, and operational handoffs.
• Use SQL/Python/Excel/R and AI tools to interrogate data and validate assumptions.
