The POS Data Model supports clean, reliable API / Data Development, unifying the integration between SaaS Systems and Enterprise Reporting Platforms. The Hub ensures only 1 downstream integration, increasing flexibility and reducing redundancy.

JOB SUMMARY

Vaco Technology is seeking a Senior Product Manager / POS Data Hub (QSR) for a Direct-Hire opportunity that is 100% remote based. The Senior Product Manager will lead a Software Product Team responsible for integrating with a POS system, crafting the product roadmap, collaborating with business / technical stakeholders, and leading the product development in alignment with organizational objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

CHALLENGES

The team currently supports 2,500 Restaurants with tens of thousands of events per minute during peak times, with data quality challenges, including non-uniform data and complex and raw POS data streams. Reporting is critical, especially for executive dashboards and operational metrics.

90-120 DAY ROADMAP
  • Operational Reporting / POS Data Integration – Revamping operational reports and improving the quality of raw data coming from two different POS systems.
  • Back-of-House Process Overhaul – Overhauling back-of-house processes, specifically how employees are onboarded and offboarded, and how those workflows integrate with the POS systems.
  • Labor Forecasting (Harri Integration) – Enhancing the integration with Harri to optimize store-level staffing, including analyzing labor needs, pulling production time data, and integrating recipe system data.
THE IDEAL PRODUCT MANAGER

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in and understanding of APIs, Vendor Integrations, and Data Systems, with experience leading a team without direct reports, acting as a people leader in practice.

Determining compensation for this role depends upon a wide array of factors, including individual’s skill sets, experience, and training. The salary range for the role is noted in this job posting, with potential eligibility for discretionary bonuses and participation in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
