Job summary

Delinea seeks a results-driven product leader to own the policy, workflow orchestration, and notification layers across its Identity Security Platform. You will set the strategy for shared services, collaborate with customers and internal teams, and guide adoption of platform capabilities by multiple product teams.

You will work with security, IAM, and compliance stakeholders, and partner with engineering and design to bring capabilities to market. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of customer-facing product management experience, focused on platform services or shared capabilities.
• Understanding of platform product management principles: multi-tenancy and API-first design.
• Experience with policy engines, policy-as-code, and orchestration systems.
• Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Talk to customers (security architects, IAM admins, approvers) to validate policy and notification UX.
• Set a vision for shared services and communicate it to customers, partners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design services adopted by multiple product teams.
• Partner with engineering, design, and architecture from problem definition through launch.
• Stay current on policy-as-code and event-driven architecture and feed ideas into the roadmap.

Position Summary

You will own the services every Delinea platform capability is built on: policy, workflow orchestration and approvals, inbox, and notifications. These are the platform's decision and communication layer - the components that determine whether an access request is allowed, who approves it, how they're told, and what the auditor sees afterward. Every service team builds on them, and every customer touches them daily. You'll set the strategy, and work directly with both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Talk to customers directly - security architects, IAM admins, approvers, auditors - and validate what policy authoring, approvals, and notifications should feel like.
• Set a vision for shared services and help communicate it to our customers, partners and stakeholders.
• Treat internal business unit teams as customers: learn their roadmaps, understand their constraints, and design services they want to adopt rather than services they are told to adopt.
• Partner closely with engineering, design, and architecture from problem definition through launch.
• Stay current on policy-as-code, workflow orchestration patterns, and event-driven architecture, and bring the good ideas back into the roadmap.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or similar preferred.
• 5+ years of proven experience in customer facing product management, with a focus on platform services, shared/foundational capabilities, or related areas.
• Solid understanding of platform product management principles: multi-tenancy, API-first design.
• Experience with one or more of the shared-service domains primarily policy engines, policy-as-code and workflow orchestration systems.
• Familiarity with security, compliance, and audit requirements for enterprise workflows and approvals (e.g., separation of duties, audit trails).
• Track record of successfully bringing platform capabilities to market and driving their adoption across multiple product teams.
• Working knowledge of public cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and event-driven, microservices-based architectures.
• Experience in identity security, PAM, or the broader cybersecurity space is a huge plus.
• Pragmatic Marketing/Scrum Product Owner certifications are a plus.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, and a curious attitude with a desire to collaborate with a team of first-rate engineers, designers, and other Product Managers.
