What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Set the product direction for the W&B SDK, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term improvements
- Own and evolve the product strategy for the W&B SDK, ensuring it is intuitive and extensible
- Partner closely with engineering to enhance metrics ingestion, storage, and retrieval systems
- Define and track success metrics for SDK adoption, reliability, and performance
- Collaborate with various teams to identify user pain points and implement product improvements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, preferably with developer tools, SDKs, or technical infrastructure
- Strong ability to communicate with engineers regarding APIs, performance bottlenecks, and distributed systems
- Understanding of the needs of ML engineers and researchers, or a strong willingness to learn
- Structured problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and act swiftly
- Passion for user research and integrating customer feedback into product development

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working on Python libraries, open-source tooling, or metrics systems
- Background in scaling or optimizing storage and ingestion pipelines at high throughput
- Familiarity with MySQL, Kubernetes, Terraform, and major cloud providers (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Previous involvement in ML workflows and understanding of experimentation-heavy teams
- Prior experience using W&B is a plus
