Senior Product Manager – Manhattan WMS (Warehouse Management System)

Long-Term Contract (can convert to perm if residing in Atlanta, GA)

Remote (travel 1-2x/month to Atlanta during testing and go-live)

Join a high-impact Warehouse Automation team driving a robotics-enabled initiative to modernize warehouse fulfillment operations. This Sr Product Manager to support a proof-of-concept (POC) launch of a warehouse automation and robotics system designed to transform how inventory is received, stored, picked, and packed. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ideally Manhattan WMS, and a track record of leading Agile ceremonies and product execution in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the backlog and sprint delivery for a WMS automation and robotics initiative, targeting a POC go-live of this August.
• Jump directly into executing test cases as part of the product validation and readiness phase.
• Run daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions across three separate components: UI, integration, and WMS development.
• Translate system needs into clear, actionable user stories for a team of 15-20 developers.
• Collaborate with component Anchors (IT Leads) to identify and track weekly priorities.
• Ensure cross-functional alignment across development, QA, business partners, and system stakeholders.
• Travel to the direct fulfillment center in Locust Grove, GA as needed for testing and POC launch (approximately 1-2 times per month through August).

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on WMS experience (Manhattan WMS preferred, other WMS platforms acceptable).
• Exposure to warehouse automation or robotics systems.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) and how they connect with WMS platforms to manage equipment, tasks, and inventory flow in automated warehouse environments.
• 1+ year of Product Management experience including writing user stories, backlog ownership, sprint planning, and leading Agile ceremonies.
• Experience working within a balanced Agile team (engineers, designers, and product leads).
• Strong collaboration skills across technical and business teams in large, fast-paced enterprise environment.
• Background supporting high-volume fulfillment center operations.
