Job description
Overview

Are you a seasoned Fintech Product Manager with deep experience in lending and a passion for building impactful financial products? Jobber is seeking a Senior Product Manager in the Fintech department to lead our lending offerings and help small service businesses thrive through timely, accessible financing. This is a remote-first role that can be held in Canada or the United States.

Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We enable small home service businesses to quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while delivering a professional customer experience. Our culture emphasizes transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation, and has earned recognition from Great Place to Work and other industry lists.

The Team

Fintech is a core strategic priority for Jobber. We are investing in this growing area to embed financial tools within our product, helping small businesses access capital, get paid, and offer financing to customers. Our focus is to build a scalable lending platform that serves as a true business, not just a feature.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product, Fintech, you will lead the product strategy and execution for Jobber’s lending offerings — products designed to help small service businesses thrive through financing. The lending business is nascent and growing quickly; you will navigate this growth stage and realize the potential for customers and the business. This is an opportunity to build a business with a clear mandate to innovate, differentiate, and scale Jobber Capital.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end product development for lending and financing solutions, including term loans, consumer financing, and future offerings like lines of credit, credit cards, and cash advances.
  • Own product discovery and delivery from strategy to execution, aligning cross-functional teams across engineering, design, data, and marketing.
  • Define and execute the roadmap for capital access, balancing short-term wins with long-term innovation.
  • Deeply understand lending as a business, synthesizing market, regulatory, and customer data into smart product decisions.
  • Prioritize user and business impact, ensuring every product decision drives value for Jobber’s small business customers.
  • Collaborate with domain experts across lending, credit risk, underwriting, and compliance to launch best-in-class products.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, especially for small business owners navigating financing for growth.
  • Set the foundation for multi-product strategy as we incorporate a full suite of lending products and scale the business and team.
Qualifications
  • Proven product management experience at a Senior level, with a clear focus in fintech, lending, or consumer financing.
  • A track record of delivering lending or credit products, whether in consumer, B2B, or embedded vertical solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the lending lifecycle, from acquisition through servicing and repayment.
  • Experience at tech-forward companies in fintech or in vertical SaaS with a lending layer.
  • Strong grasp of how to balance technology and lending expertise — and the ability to scale both.
  • Demonstrated ability to build new products and businesses, not just optimize existing ones.
  • Familiarity with B2B2C dynamics, including how capital flows through to end users in small business contexts.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying problems and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and execution skills — with the ability to motivate teams around bold goals.
Desirable
  • Exposure to underwriting, capital markets, or embedded financial services
  • Experience scaling products from 0 to 1 (and beyond)
Compensation

At Jobber, compensation is transparent and competitive. This role has a minimum annual salary of $139,800, a midpoint of $164,500, and a maximum of $189,100, reflecting growth and impact. The compensation package includes equity rewards, annual health and wellness stipends, retirement savings matching, and an extended health plan with fully paid premiums for body and mind.

Base salary is one part of total compensation; you will also have access to a dedicated talent development program with career coaching and opportunities for growth. We are committed to transparent conversations about compensation throughout the hiring process.

What you can expect from Jobber
  • A total compensation package that includes extended health benefits, retirement savings matching, and stock options.
  • A dedicated Talent Development team with coaching, learning, and leadership programs to help you grow your career.
  • Support for breaks and leave policies, including vacation, health days, and parental leave top-ups.
  • A unique opportunity to impact a large, growing industry with no dominant player yet.
  • A collaborative, supportive work environment focused on customer impact.

We believe in diversity and inclusion as a key driver of success. Jobber is an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We will provide accommodations at any stage of the hiring process.

A bit more about us: Jobber helps service professionals connect with customers, save time, invoice faster, and get paid. We’re transforming how service is delivered and creating value for thousands of small businesses.
