Job description

303 2nd Street, Suite 500N, San Francisco, California, United States

Banyan Infrastructure is on a mission to unlock the trillions of dollars needed to finance the renewable infrastructure revolution. We are a dynamic fintech company providing a cutting-edge software solution that empowers banks, funds, and other financial institutions globally to efficiently invest in sustainable projects and achieve their net-zero targets. Join us in building the future of green finance.

Why consider this opportunity?

We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive innovative, automated solutions in climate finance. This role offers significant autonomy, creativity, and growth potential, influencing product strategy from vision to launch. Our team is mission-driven, passionate about sustainability, and values collaboration and continuous learning. This hybrid role (4 days in office, 1 flexible) reports to the Head of Product Management. We will prioritize candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area who can come into the office regularly.

Your Role

As the Integrations Senior Product Manager, you'll expand Banyan's connectivity within the climate finance ecosystem. You'll blend strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring our platform seamlessly connects with the tools our customers use every day.

  • Lead Integration and Data Strategy & Roadmap: Define the overarching vision, product strategy, comprehensive roadmap, and detailed execution plan for building and scaling Banyan's integration ecosystem to ensure growth through existing use cases and unlock new opportunities for Banyan. This includes identifying key partners, prioritizing integration initiatives, and establishing success metrics for seamless connectivity with critical third-party systems.
  • Be the Product Owner for Integrations: Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of integrations, from initial ideation and technical design to development, successful launch, and ongoing maintenance. This involves deeply understanding customer and market signals, gathering precise requirements, defining robust APIs, and collaborating closely with engineering on implementation.
  • Champion API-First Development: Advocate for and actively contribute to the development of robust, well-documented, and scalable APIs that empower seamless integration with our platform, making Banyan a hub for climate finance solutions.
  • Cultivate our Partner Ecosystem: Identify, recruit, and onboard strategic integration partners that align with our mission and customer needs. Build and nurture strong, mutually beneficial relationships to drive adoption and ensure their success within our ecosystem.
  • Drive Data Strategy for Integrations: Shape how Banyan acquires, stores, and utilizes data from integrations to create value for our customers, where data is the backbone of our product.
  • Monitor & Analyze Integration Performance: Track key integration metrics such as adoption rate, usage patterns, customer satisfaction, and API performance. Utilize both quantitative data and qualitative research to inform data-driven product decisions, identify areas for improvement, and prioritize iterations.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally & Advocate for Users: Work closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success to translate customer pain points into actionable product improvements and ensure successful integration launches. Act as a user advocate, translating complex functional requirements into detailed product specifications for technical audiences while conveying business value to all stakeholders.
  • Orchestrate Data and Integration Launches: Plan and execute successful product launches for integrations, collaborating closely with stakeholders on marketing activities, documentation, support requests, and sales enablement to ensure seamless go-to-market efforts and ongoing support.

What You’ll Need

We're looking for an Integrations Product Manager who combines strategic vision with hands-on expertise and a passion for building connected, high-impact products.

  • Deep Expertise in API Design & Integration Technologies: Proven understanding of RESTful APIs, API gateways, and other integration technologies. Demonstrated success in developing and scaling robust, seamless integrations with third-party platforms, particularly in a SaaS or Fintech environment. You love working with data partners.
  • Strategic Roadmap Ownership: Proven ability to define product strategy and own the full lifecycle of a data & integrations roadmap, translating customer, industry, and market insights into actionable plans and driving end-to-end execution with engineering teams.
  • Exceptional Technical Acumen & Communication: Ability to engage in deep technical discussions with engineers while equally adept at translating complex fintech concepts to non-technical audiences. You understand the realities of building and managing complex software services at scale and can adapt your communication for different stakeholders.
  • Analytical Problem-Solver: Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of gathering and synthesizing diverse inputs (market data, customer feedback, sales insights) to define clear requirements and drive data-driven product decisions. You thrive on structuring ambiguity and can distill complex situations into actionable milestones.
  • Deep Customer Empathy: A strong, innate curiosity about customer needs, combined with active listening skills and a passion for identifying pain points and building innovative solutions. You love talking to customers!
  • Exceptional Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to build strong partnerships and effectively collaborate with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to define, build, and support solutions that drive growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Reporting & Analytics Leadership: Experience in designing and developing flexible data dashboards, standard reports, and custom reporting capabilities for customers. A genuine enthusiasm for leveraging data to provide actionable insights.
  • Startup Acumen: Prior experience as a Product Manager in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or Fintech startup, demonstrating comfort with rapid decision-making and fluid environments.
  • Mission-Driven: Enthusiasm for Banyan’s mission and alignment with our values. Experience with ClimateTech, Sustainability, or climate finance is a plus.

We are unable to provide H1B visa sponsorship for this role. US work authorization required.

How we'll support your growth and success

  • Work closely with the founders, executives, and cross-functional teammates
  • Professional development opportunities to further skills and knowledge
  • Opportunity to learn the ins and outs of capital markets, financial products, and the technologies that drive the sector’s innovation
  • A collaborative and supportive team of smart, passionate people who are all focused on a common goal

Compensation: $140,000 - $190,000 Base Salary plus Equity

Our benefits package is designed to allow team members to be their best selves, in and out of the workplace. We offer 100% paid health benefits for employees through a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), 401K with 6% match, at work meal offerings via MealPal and commuter benefits program. We prioritize your well-being and growth through professional development, parental leave program and a flexible time off policy. Our headquarters is centrally located between Bart and Caltrain in San Francisco, CA at 2nd & Folsom.

Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. We'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. We believe diverse perspectives and backgrounds are critical to building great technology. Our goal is to cultivate an environment where people feel valued and respected. So, however you identify and whatever background you bring, please apply if this role would make you excited to come to work. Banyan is an equal opportunity employer.
