You will work across YouTube products, Shorts, Create, Trust and Safety, and with Google DeepMind to ensure we act in the best interest of our broad base of creators. This includes finding ways to launch new features quickly yet responsibly, building protections for users creating with our generative tools, and reducing instances of unintended content generation blocks.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Lead responsibility for our Generative AI Creations, ensuring that our tools empower creativity without compromising trust, safety, or user integrity.
• Collaborate with YouTube’s policy, legal, and Trust and Safety organizations to translate guidance into product features.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, trust and safety, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams to ensure responsibility is seamlessly integrated into creator experiences.
• Influence company-wide strategy on generative content risk management and build protections around real people likeness, model misuse, and sensitive content generation.
• Monitor engaged landscape and evolving norms around Generative AI (GenAI) to keep YouTube at the forefront of responsible innovation.
