Senior Product Manager - Gen AI Assistants, Cisco AI Software and Platforms

You are able to travel to the San Jose, CA office at least once every three months for planning meetings.

The Cisco AI Software & Platform Group incubates and delivers Generative AI-based solutions to reinvent Cisco's existing products and how customers interact with them. Our group is also introducing new offerings that help customers deploy Generative AI at scale responsibly. We develop internal platforms that unlock the benefits of this technology for Cisco teams and partners across our Security, Enterprise Networking, Collaboration, and Splunk portfolios.

Your Impact

Cisco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to join our strategic AI Software and Platform team, implementing Generative AI products and experiences across Cisco's broad product portfolio. In this role, you will drive GenAI-based Assistant experiences within products spanning Security and Enterprise Networking. This position requires expertise in productizing machine learning and Generative AI tools, models, and agents at an enterprise scale, with a customer-centric approach to navigating complex cross-functional challenges.

• Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of advanced Generative AI-powered products, particularly Generative AI Assistants.
• Collaborate with product teams across different business groups and the broader Cisco ecosystem to integrate Generative AI capabilities.
• Stay ahead of the evolving generative AI space, translating research into strategic opportunities for Cisco.
• Drive products from conception to launch, balancing internal and external needs to deliver valuable solutions that enhance Cisco's products.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 1-2 years working on Generative AI and machine learning projects.
• Proven experience in productizing Generative AI and machine learning technologies at an enterprise scale.
• Background in security, enterprise networking, AI, or related fields, with a passion for impactful solutions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strategic mindset with awareness of Generative AI research and trends, capable of unlocking new capabilities for customers.
• Strong ability to work across teams and manage diverse products for various customer bases.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams across functions.
