Job summary

Chess.com is seeking a senior Product Manager to lead and shape the Gameplay roadmap and long-term vision. You will own the end-to-end gameplay experience across live games, daily usage, and bot play, partnering with design and engineering to deliver high-impact features.

You will work with leadership to balance data-driven decisions with a strong sense for what makes chess experiences delightful for diverse user skill levels, leveraging AI to accelerate ideation and testing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management, 4+ shipping consumer-facing products at scale.
• Shipped consumer-facing products to large user bases.
• Balance a quantitative understanding of funnels, metrics, and experimentation with a qualitative UX feel.
• AI-native; use AI daily to prototype, explore ideas, and accelerate execution.

Responsibilities

• Shape the Gameplay roadmap and long-term vision for Gameplay at Chess.com.
• Own the gameplay experience across live games, daily, and bot play.
• Collaborate with leadership, design, and engineering; communicate openly and clearly to executives.
• Define success metrics, run AB tests, and push for high-velocity delivery.
• Prototype with AI and build mocks to discuss with teams.
