Job Description
The Opportunity

We, at Flywire, are looking for an experienced Sr. Technical Product Manager, ideally with a background in FinTech. At this advanced career level, you will lead complex product initiatives across our enterprise systems portfolio, driving strategic outcomes and mentoring team members.

You will own significant platform areas focusing on Treasury and may include other assigned Finance functions. You will partner directly with senior business leaders, and ensure that our enterprise systems continuously evolve to support Flywire's growth and competitive position. This role demands deep technical knowledge, executive presence, and the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, own, and execute the product strategy and multi-year roadmap for Treasury and other finance functions, aligning with company-wide objectives. Focusing on solutions built for scalability and growth
  • Develop deep expertise in Treasury and maintain a dedicated focus on understanding its objectives, workflows, controls, pain points, and regulatory considerations.
  • Build trusted relationships across Treasury to identify unmet needs, challenge assumptions, and proactively uncover opportunities that practitioners may not recognize or have the capacity to pursue.
  • Support Treasury business operations and strategic initiatives through prioritization, planning, budgeting coordination, and execution.
  • Partner directly with senior business leaders and executives to identify and prioritize high-value technology investments.
  • Translate complex, ambiguous business challenges into well-defined product requirements and actionable engineering plans. Owning the backlog while being responsible for intake through productionalization.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on strategic alignment, economics, risk, scalability, and resource constraints.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the full product development lifecycle, from discovery and design through launch and continuous improvement. Fostering collaboration and alignment across stakeholders
  • Establish and govern product metrics frameworks, using data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and demonstrate business value.
  • Drive platform architecture discussions, influencing technical decisions to ensure scalability, security, and long-term sustainability.
  • Champion Agile best practices and lead the adoption of product management methodologies across teams.
  • Manage and mentor junior and mid-level Product Managers, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Represent product management in enterprise architecture reviews and governance forums.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, evaluating platform capabilities and negotiating roadmap commitments.
