About the role:

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of one of our most critical use cases: delivering seamless and reliable Earned Wage Access (EWA) experiences. In this high-impact role, you’ll define and drive the product vision and strategy for EWA across verticals, ensuring Branch provides users with fast and transparent access to their earned wages.

You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, compliance, risk, operations, and leadership to create user experiences that are trustworthy, scalable, compliant, and differentiated in the market. This role requires strong business acumen, deep user empathy, and the ability to lead through influence across teams.

Responsibilities
  • Vision & Strategy: Define and own the EWA product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals, focusing on solutions for enterprise and cross-vertical
  • Critical Use Case Ownership: Lead the end-to-end experience of how users access, manage, and receive earned wages
  • Discovery & Insights: Drive user research, data analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform product decisions
  • User Experience: Ensure EWA flows are seamless, transparent, and optimized for speed, trust, and fairness
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a thought partner to engineering, design, compliance, and operations to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Execution & Prioritization: Prioritize initiatives based on user needs, business impact, and regulatory requirements
  • Scalability & Platform: Identify and deliver platform-level improvements that make EWA more reliable, flexible, and cost-efficient
  • Metrics & Outcomes: Define and track success metrics such as adoption, frequency of use, transaction completion rates, and user satisfaction
Qualifications (required)
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with 2+ years in fintech
  • Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from 0 → 1
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance user empathy and company objectives
  • Experience working on EWA, payments, or adjacent financial products
  • Understanding of financial regulations and compliance considerations
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
  • Proficiency with remote collaboration
Qualifications (preferred)
  • Experience scaling EWA or adjacent fintech products in a high-growth environment
  • Background in financial wellness, payroll systems, or digital disbursements
  • Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, or payment infrastructure
  • Experience collaborating with compliance and risk teams to ship regulated financial products
