Job Description Summary

The Senior Product Manager - Embedded Systems Controls will own the technology development roadmap and product lifecycle for GEH Nuclear’s embedded systems product line. This includes pre-engineering, validated analog and digital building blocks, modules, units, components, enclosures, and configuration rules for plant systems shipped to nuclear power plants.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, utilizing roadmaps and business tools, collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Finance, Sales, and Marketing to improve and expand the product platform.
  2. Develop new product concepts based on customer feedback, market research, emerging technologies, and competitive trends.
  3. Lead the introduction of new technologies and products to the marketplace.
  4. Work closely with Engineering on the technology roadmap and supporting infrastructure.
  5. Coordinate with Sourcing to develop a cost-effective, scalable supply base and ordering processes.
  6. Partner with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing to identify product enhancements and new offerings, guiding through the Inquiry to Order process.
  7. Ensure product capabilities and supply chain readiness to mitigate risks for customer orders.
  8. Collaborate with Finance for funding and budgeting.
  9. Drive obsolescence management, cost reduction, and technology upgrades to maintain product vitality and profitability.
  10. Manage relationships with joint ventures, partners, and suppliers to support the product line.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Technical Field (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, etc.)
  • Minimum of 10 years in high-tech, high-reliability electronics industries (aerospace, nuclear, medical, etc.)
Eligibility Requirements
  • Preferred location: Wilmington, NC; remote candidates considered for U.S. applicants
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically
  • U.S. persons only due to export-controlled technology access; proof required
Desired Characteristics
  • Experience in embedded systems engineering and product management
  • Knowledge of LEAN, AGILE, or similar methodologies
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Master’s degree, PMP/PMI, PE license, and nuclear industry experience are preferred
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $118,600 - $160,000, plus bonuses and benefits including health, retirement, tuition assistance, and more. Role closes on 5/30/2025. Relocation assistance available.
