As a Senior Product Manager, EdTech Innovation at CFC, you will lead the development of a new product line that supports our strategic growth in the K–12 U.S. education market. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic, mission-driven leader to shape innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of students, educators, and school systems. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing high-potential product concepts and prototypes that can scale into impactful offerings. You’ll translate market insights into a compelling product vision, define success metrics, and guide the product from discovery through launch.

What you’ll do when you join us:

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Collaborate with the CEO and other members of the leadership team in the development of portfolio-expanding new products aligned with our diversification strategy and organizational mission
  • Translate student, educator, and district needs into a compelling, scalable product vision
  • Define success metrics and establish product goals grounded in user value, learning outcomes, and business impact

Market Research & Concept Development

  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the education sector
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and technology partners to ensure product relevance and feasibility
  • Generate, refine, and prioritize innovative product ideas that align with impact and revenue goals

0–1 Product Development

  • Lead the design and development of product prototypes that bring early concepts to life and enable rapid iteration
  • Design and execute testing strategies to gather user feedback, validate assumptions, and refine product concepts and prototypes
  • Lead roadmap creation and iterative development from concept to launch
  • Build business cases and secure executive buy-in and resources

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with researchers, instructional designers, UX, engineering, and go-to-market teams
  • Facilitate agile rituals and ensure alignment across product, design, and technical execution
  • Manage timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure high-quality outcomes

Operational & Financial Oversight

  • Manage the budget for product innovation, ensuring efficient and strategic use of resources
  • Monitor product performance and iterate based on user feedback, learning outcomes, and business impact

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 5–8 years of product management experience, ideally in EdTech or youth-focused industries
  • Proven track record leading 0–1 product development and launching new products that achieved scale and revenue targets
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools for product development, user research, or personalization
  • Experience managing or influencing cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of K–12 education markets, especially district and school purchasing dynamics
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred:

  • Background in student human skill or executive function development, mental health, digital well-being, and/or child safety
  • Experience in brand development or portfolio expansion strategies
  • Familiarity with ESSA-aligned evidence standards or research-practice partnerships

Note: This position is remote, employees are eligible to work remotely in any of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, NV, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, VA, WA. Travel is typically quarterly but may be as frequent as every two months for research, testing, and other activities as needed.

The hiring range for this position is $122,000–$149,000 annually. The pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
