Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in product management or product ownership, preferably with Scrum.
• Experience developing online products (ebooks, courseware).
• Familiarity with college products and business models.
• Strong collaboration with editorial, marketing and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business decisions required to drive new product development, coordinating market research and cross-functional consultation within Sage.
• Lead all aspects of the project management for new product development with business units across Sage to keep projects on schedule and budget.
• Collaborate with other PMs on product roadmap strategy and prioritizing the product backlog.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing on new functionality before each live release and sign off on completed work by the development team.
• Partner with market research to test ideas, develop business requirements, and assess investment risk.
• Engage with customers and market teams to stay aligned with needs and competitive trends.
• Define technical requirements and create wireframes when needed, coordinating with editorial and technology teams.
• Support content development and execution, streamlining workflows and standardizing content for a digital-first process.
• Lead project management rituals, maintain plans and documentation, and ensure accountability for results.
• Assist with implementation workflows focusing on training, activation with customers/students, and LMS integrations.
• Establish reporting on product updates, usage analytics, and enhancement plans.
