About The Team

The AlphaSense Product Team builds the AI market intelligence products that thousands of enterprises rely on every day. Our Agent API extends that intelligence beyond the AlphaSense platform: it lets enterprise engineering teams and partners embed our decision‑making intelligence directly into their own applications. Our developer experience is what decides whether our customers can drop AlphaSense into their enterprise AI stack in an afternoon or give up during setup. This role exists to make that experience excellent. You'll work at the center of engineering, developer support, customer experience, and the broader API product effort.

About The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the developer experience for the AlphaSense Agent API. You'll be responsible for everything a developer touches on the way to a successful integration: the developer portal, documentation and quickstarts, SDKs and code samples, authentication and credentials, structured responses and streaming, error handling, and the logging and tracing developers need to debug agentic workflows. Your north star is time-to-first-call – how quickly a developer at a sophisticated enterprise can authenticate, make a real call, and trust what comes back. To succeed you’ll need to meet developers where they already are: aligning our API with the conventions teams use to consume LLMs and agents today, so that adopting AlphaSense feels native rather than bespoke. You'll ground your roadmap in developer analytics, support signals, and direct conversations with the engineers who build on our API, and you'll partner closely with Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Education to keep the experience coherent as the API grows. You'll start with the Agent API, and as AlphaSense's developer platform expands, you'll have the opportunity to shape the standards and experience for developers across more of our products.

Who You Are
  • You’re an expert in developer products. You've owned public APIs, SDKs, or developer portals, and you understand a developer's workflow from the inside. Ideally, you've built for developers who integrate your product into experiences for their own end users, rather than tools developers use for themselves.
  • You’re technically hands‑on and fluent in the modern AI developer ecosystem. You can read API documentation, authenticate, and make a call yourself. You know how engineering teams integrate LLMs today and the conventions teams expect around SDKs, errors, and tooling. You’re a strong thought partner for engineering who can drive to a decision on complex technical topics.
  • You treat documentation and onboarding as a product. You know that a great quickstart, a working code sample, and a clear, actionable error message do more for adoption than any amount of marketing.
  • You bring structure at scale. You've operated in a fast‑scaling enterprise environment and are energized by taking a working developer experience and making it genuinely great, creating the standards others rely on.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the end-to-end developer journey. Define and improve every step from a developer's first visit through authentication, first successful call, integration, and production.
  • Make the portal and docs a first‑class surface. Drive the developer portal, reference documentation, quickstarts, tutorials, code samples, changelogs, and the SDKs and client libraries that let developers self‑serve.
  • Meet developers in their existing stack. Align the API with the standards and conventions teams already use to consume LLMs and agents, so integrating AlphaSense is close to a drop‑in change.
  • Make agentic workflows debuggable. Give developers the structured responses, verbose logs, tracing, and clear errors they need to see what the agent did and fix issues without guesswork.
  • Cut time-to-first-call. Hunt down onboarding friction across credentials, authentication, and testing so a new developer reaches a working call fast.
Base Compensation Range
