The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Data & Services Product team. As a Data PM, you will leverage data throughout the product lifecycle to enhance our advertising solutions. Your responsibilities include strategy, governance, implementation of data initiatives, and facilitating communication among stakeholders, including executives, engineers, analysts, and data consumers.

This role is part of our central data team, overseeing data flow and business logic across the organization, from raw data production to consumption by reporting and ML teams. You will be integral to some of Unity’s most critical initiatives, impacting our business significantly.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Define data flow from generation or ingestion, transformation, storage, to consumption for machine learning or analysis.
2. Understand the data needs of internal customers and collaborate with engineering to meet those needs.
3. Establish and communicate a clear vision and strategy for your data products aligned with Unity’s goals.
4. Translate complex data requirements into actionable tasks.
5. Prioritize data initiatives across various stakeholders.
6. Lead and motivate a cross-functional team of engineers and analysts.

What We're Looking For

1. Experience as a data product manager handling large-scale data.
2. Excellent communication and influence skills across organizational levels.
3. Deep knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data lakehouse architectures, with the ability to make technical decisions alongside engineering teams.
4. Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
5. Hands-on SQL experience.
6. A proven track record of delivering results through product shipping.
