Job description

Senior Product Manager, Data Products

PacBio is developing data and analytics products built on our highly accurate sequencing technology. These products will combine PacBio-generated data, complementary information, and modern analytics to help life sciences customers address important research and development questions. We are seeking an experienced product manager to shape strategy, learn from customers, define what we build, and work across PacBio to bring products to market.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Senior Product Manager, you will own the strategy and roadmap for emerging life sciences data products. You will define how customers use and access data, including supported use cases, sharing and export options, privacy, and data-use rights. You will also define pricing based on customer value and usage. You will work closely with Business Development to identify data partners. This senior individual contributor role requires comfort moving among scientific details, technical architecture, customer needs, governance, and commercial considerations.
