Superhuman offers a dynamic hybrid working model for this role. This flexible approach gives team members the best of both worlds: plenty of focus time along with in-person collaboration that helps foster trust, innovation, and a strong team culture.

The Opportunity

Superhuman is becoming a multi-product company, and our data platform needs to make that complexity feel simple for our customers and for our internal employees. We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the core data model and shared data services that will power connected, intelligent experiences across Superhuman Docs, Mail, Go, Grammarly, and future Superhuman products.

This is a technical, high-leverage product role for someone who loves data systems as much as customer outcomes. You’ll define how Superhuman understands users, teams, organizations, permissions, content, activity, signals, and product interactions across a growing suite. You’ll turn messy, distributed data into trusted platform primitives that product teams can build on with confidence.

You’ll partner closely with data engineering, product engineering, data science, security, and product teams across Superhuman to design the shared services, schemas, governance patterns, and interfaces that make our combined data platform durable, scalable, and easy to use. The right person is a data nerd: curious about models, pipelines, quality, lineage, and semantics, while still anchored in the product experiences those systems enable.

Ownership

In This Role, You Will:

Own the roadmap for Superhuman’s core data model and shared platform services across a multi-product suite

Define the canonical entities, relationships, events, permissions, and semantics that product and AI teams rely on

Partner with engineering to build reliable, scalable data systems, APIs, and services that turn complex data into simple platform capabilities

Work across product teams to understand data needs, unblock high-impact use cases, and drive consistency without slowing innovation

Establish product-quality standards for data trust, documentation, governance, discoverability, and developer experience

Define success metrics, prioritize investments, and use data to communicate platform impact and adoption

Qualifications

You have 5+ years in product management, with meaningful experience owning technical platform, data, infrastructure, or AI-enabling products.

You have hands-on fluency with data systems and platforms, including data modeling, schemas, event systems, APIs, warehouses, or analytics infrastructure.

You are comfortable working closely with engineers and data practitioners on technical tradeoffs, architecture, reliability, privacy, security, and scale.

You can translate complex platform capabilities into clear product requirements, adoption paths, and user experiences for internal product teams.

You have experience shipping products or platforms that serve multiple teams, customers, or surfaces at scale.

You have a demonstrated ability to take ambiguous, cross-functional problems from insight to shipped product with minimal oversight.

Analytical Rigor: You think in systems, metrics, models, and pipelines. You can identify the signal in messy data, define crisp success measures, and translate findings into clear product direction.

Platform Product Sense: You understand that internal platforms win through trust, usability, documentation, reliability, and adoption — not just technical elegance.

Data Craft: You care deeply about semantics, lineage, data quality, governance, and the long-term maintainability of shared data systems.

Enterprise Empathy: You understand the expectations of enterprise customers around data privacy, permissions, security, compliance, and reliability.

AI-First Operator: You embed AI into daily workflows, rituals, and decision-making. You model fluency, curiosity, and visible use of AI to raise the bar for speed, quality, and customer impact.

Extreme Ownership: You act as if you are 100% responsible for your own outcomes as well as the outcomes of the company. You do this without stepping on toes.

Results Driven: You work tirelessly in pursuit of your results; you quickly take the initiative and own it when results are off; you course-correct and get scrappy if necessary.

Low Ego: You put the company ahead of yourself. Most of our discussions are about results and how to amplify success.

Has a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manages tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyzes and executes work efficiently, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
