Job description

About Pinterest:

Millions of people worldwide visit our platform to find creative ideas, dream about new possibilities, and plan memories that last a lifetime. At Pinterest, our mission is to inspire everyone to create a life they love, starting with the people behind the product.

Discover a career where you ignite innovation for millions, turn passion into growth, celebrate diverse experiences, and enjoy flexibility to do your best work. Creating a career you love? It's possible.

We are a focused platform where users come with active intent, not for entertainment or endless scrolling. Positioned at the intersection of search, social, and commerce, our unique blend of personalized discovery and actionable curation helps users bring their inspiration to life.

In this role, you'll drive revisitation—helping users make progress on their inspiration journeys by resurfacing their boards and saves, enabling them to pick up where they left off and build on previous ideas to inspire new opportunities. You'll collaborate across teams and think strategically about increasing visitation, engagement, retention, and revenue across surfaces.

This is a key part of our Curation strategy and offers an opportunity to impact Pinterest's top-line growth significantly.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive revisitation strategy, roadmap, and goals in partnership with Product, Engineering, Design, and other stakeholders, including senior leadership.

  • Create innovative, Pinterest-specific experiences that help users advance their saved pins and boards.

  • Collaborate deeply with engineering, design, and data science teams to craft experiences at the intersection of UX, ML, and AI.

  • Define hypotheses, product requirements, decision frameworks, metrics, and goals for strategic projects.

  • Address complex, ambiguous problems independently and develop strategic influence across products.

What we're looking for:

  • Trusted collaborator: Ability to partner with various teams, including Growth, Trust & Safety, Monetization, and more, building strong relationships to achieve shared strategic goals.

  • Strategic thinker: Understanding of the operating landscape and making informed tradeoffs and decisions on resource allocation.

  • Skilled communicator: Clear and convincing communication of strategies and plans to cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executive audiences.

  • Technical strength: Experience working with engineering teams on technologies like Machine Learning and AI.

  • Customer centricity: Deep understanding of internal and external customer needs and requirements.

  • Data fluency: Ability to leverage diverse quantitative and qualitative insights for decision-making.

  • Results-driven: Track record of producing measurable results aligned with strategic goals.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. Our work model is flexible; in-person collaboration is required 1-2 times per quarter, and the role can be based anywhere in the country.
