Job summary

Google in Seattle seeks a senior Product Manager to guide products from conception to launch, bridging engineering and business teams. You will break down complex problems, define roadmaps, and shape the product narrative for scalable solutions.

You will work with engineers, UX, marketing, and finance to measure success, present to senior leadership, and help Google Cloud deliver enterprise-grade technologies worldwide.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead product requirements documents with partner teams to turn PRDs into OKRs for multiple teams.
• Own and define project roadmaps.
• Drive development and gain buy-in for product goals and narrative.
• Validate market size and opportunity (user-based, strategic, business).
• Define and track product or business metrics, qualitative and quantitative.

Job description

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
• 3 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within databases, analytics, big data, or a related area.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
• 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
• 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
• 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
• 3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership.
• Prior experience in Query processing and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead product requirements documents (PRDs) by collaborating with partner teams (e.g., engineers, PgMs, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn PRDs into OKRs for multiple teams.
• Own and define project roadmaps.
• Drive development and secure buy-in for a product goals that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts.
• Manage validation of market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, buisness).
• Lead and harmonize processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures.
