Job summary

Coinbase is hiring a Group Product Manager for Core Infrastructure & Reliability to own the product vision and multi-year strategy for our cloud backbone. • 10+ years in product management for cloud infra or platform reliability.
• Defined multi-year infrastructure strategies improving reliability or cost.
• Technical depth with compute, networking, storage, Kubernetes, multi-cloud.
• Proven cross-functional leadership in regulated environments.
• Ability to explain infrastructure strategy to senior leaders.
• Uses generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Core Infrastructure and reliability across compute, networking, multi-region, and multi-cloud architecture.
• Drive platform reliability programs, define and track SLOs, capacity planning, failover capabilities, and incident reduction targets.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of cloud infra technologies, balancing cost, performance, and operational complexity.
• Partner with Engineering, SRE, Security, and Finance to align infra investments with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Shape how product and engineering teams consume infrastructure by building self-serve capabilities and standards.
• Translate infrastructure metrics into executive-level investment cases.
