Senior Product Manager, Platform – Compass Patient Data Product

As a Senior Product Manager you will own data quality and data features for the Compass Platform, a centralized repository of de‑identified healthcare claims data that has been ingested, normalized, matched, merged, deduped, enriched, and made available for query.

You will productize features that improve data quality and the value it delivers to customers, including reference data, enrichment logic, data cleanup opportunities and UI‑assisting features such as search services and data curation.

You’ll partner with the Health Data and Onboarding teams to understand the full pipeline, measure quality, and identify improvements. Working closely with Development & QA teams, you will design and build product features and lead the quality‑management process.

Responsibilities

• Own and design product features from conception to delivery, authoring high‑quality design specifications and managing Jira stories.
• Design capabilities to measure, clean, enrich, and monitor data quality across billions of records.
• Own the roadmap for data quality, driving measurement, monitoring, and improvement initiatives.
• Manage feature prioritization and backlog grooming with the Development team.
• Understand internal customer needs and collaborate with stakeholders from strategy, analytics, data science, and health data management teams.
• Support release and sprint planning to ensure product enhancements are delivered on time and in the right sequence.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, and Product Management to ensure high‑quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands‑on product management experience in a technical or engineering environment.
• Experience working with prescription and medical claims data.
• Experience with big‑data systems, including schemas, reference tables, data cleanup, transformations, enrichment, and quality checks.
• Experience investigating data issues and using data visualization tools.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience developing enterprise products and working on the AWS platform.
• Proficiency in Python.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Experience working with EHR and lab data is a plus.
