Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking an experienced leader to drive Wrangler CLI and the developer tooling ecosystem for Cloudflare Workers. You will guide strategy, roadmaps, and hands-on delivery to improve the developer experience across our platform.

You will engage directly with developers and collaborate with internal engineering, external framework authors, and open-source maintainers to ensure optimal compatibility and tooling usability.

About the Role

Cloudflare Workers, launched in 2017, has evolved from a simple functions-as-a-service offering into a powerful full-stack development platform. Workers empowers developers to build sophisticated applications, leveraging numerous frameworks, tools, and integrations. Wrangler, the CLI for Cloudflare’s developer platform, plays a critical role in this, as do the surrounding tools that developers use including AI coding agents, IDEs and framework integrations.

Your mission in this role is to ensure that the “hands-on-keyboard” experience of building Workers is seamless, intuitive, and delightful — getting down to the fine-grained details that matter to developers.

What You’ll Do

• Talk directly with developers and customers big and small, every day.
• Drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Wrangler CLI , and the broader developer tooling ecosystem around Cloudflare Workers.
• Lead initiatives from ideation through launch, ensuring ongoing enhancements based on developer feedback.
• Engage closely with developer communities to understand their workflows, challenges, and tooling needs.
• Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, external framework authors, and open-source maintainers to maximize compatibility and ease-of-use with Workers.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Developer Relations, Sales, and Customer Support teams.
• Represent Cloudflare externally at conferences, community events, customer meetings, and developer-focused initiatives.
