Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive product management experience in complex or platform products.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, and execution for core banking products (deposits, money movement, cards).
• Own end-to-end experiences for account opening, funding, deposits, and payment flows (ACH, wires, transfers, bill pay, card transactions).
• Partner with Engineering on ledger, payments rails, and card systems.
• Lead discovery using customer research and data to surface high-impact opportunities.
• Write clear specs, define success metrics, and ship features in cadence with Engineering and Design.
• Embed risk, fraud, security, and regulatory requirements from day one with Risk, Compliance, and Legal.
• Manage product relationships with banking partners and vendors.
• Define and track product metrics across activation, engagement, retention, multi-product adoption, and reliability.

About the Role

This is a senior product management role owning the core banking experience at a fast-growing fintech serving small and independent businesses. You will set the strategy and roadmap for deposit accounts, money movement, cards, and the underlying program infrastructure, partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Risk, and Compliance to ship reliable, secure financial products at scale.

What You'll Do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for core banking products including deposit accounts, money movement, cards, and supporting program infrastructure.

• Own the end-to-end experience for account opening, funding, deposits, and money-movement flows such as ACH, wires, transfers, bill pay, and card transactions.

• Partner with Engineering on ledger, payments rails, and card systems that underpin those flows.

• Run a rigorous, cohort-based discovery process grounded in customer research and usage data to surface the highest-impact opportunities.

• Write clear specs, define success metrics, and ship reliable and secure features on a predictable cadence with Engineering and Design.

• Embed risk, fraud, security, and regulatory requirements into the product process from day one, partnering with Risk, Compliance, and Legal.

• Manage product relationships and integrations with banking partners and key third-party vendors.

• Define and track product metrics across activation, engagement, retention, multi-product adoption, and reliability.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of progressive product management experience, with a focus on complex, technical, or platform products.

• A demonstrable track record of shipping customer-facing products in a high-growth, regulated environment involving money movement, payments, cards, deposits, or other financial infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of banking and fintech fundamentals.

• Proven ability to partner with and influence Engineering and Design, and to write clear, actionable product specs.

• Strong analytical skills and fluency with product and cohort data.

• Experience working with Risk, Compliance, and Legal to ship within regulatory constraints.

• Background in fintech, financial services, banking, or payments preferred.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $160,000 to $180,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
