Job summary

Pulumi is seeking a Senior or Principal Product Manager to own end-to-end experiences for Pulumi Cloud, including ESC, registry, and APIs. You will partner with engineering leadership to sequence long-term bets and define what an agent-ready control plane requires, including access, scope, and auditability.

You will drive the API-first roadmap, balance governance with developer experience, and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Support, and OSS communities to ship high-quality platform

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management, engineering, or technical program management in platform/API/infrastructure.
• Taste for API and platform design, with opinions on resource modeling, versioning, and compatibility.
• Comfort with security and identity domains, secrets handling, and auditability.
• Strong technical instincts to discuss architectural tradeoffs with senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for Pulumi Cloud's platform services and sequence long-term bets.
• Define agent-ready requirements for a control plane and write the standards.
• Drive ESC roadmap for config and secrets flow, atomicity, and defaults.
• Own the trust boundary, RBAC, and audit capabilities as product features.
• Shape Registry and Components ecosystem for agent vs. human consumers.
• Treat the API as a first-class product with OpenAPI surface, Service Provider, webhooks, and VCS integrations.
• Balance governance needs with developer usability and drive adoption.
• Instrument shipping and feed usage data back into decisions.
• Lead end-to-end delivery from idea to GA with cross-functional teams.
