Job summary

Vanta seeks a Senior Product Manager, Agent Ecosystem to own external agent surfaces (MCP, CLI, plugins) and drive strategy from vision to shipped outcomes. You will collaborate with platform teams, lawyers, and go‑to‑market partners to ensure secure, scalable developer products.

As Senior Product Manager, Agent Ecosystem, you will own Vanta’s external agent surfaces: MCP, CLI, and plugins in marketplaces like Claude Code, Codex, and ChatGPT. Your job is to make Vanta the trusted compliance layer that agents rely on. You will define the strategy, ship the products, and own the outcomes.

What you’ll do as a Senior Product Manager, Agent Ecosystem at Vanta:

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Vanta’s agent ecosystem products.
• Define how agents discover, access, and safely use Vanta capabilities, partnering with the platform teams that own APIs and authentication.
• Hold outcome parity as a product principle: work a customer can complete in Vanta should be possible through MCP, CLI, and plugin surfaces too.
• Lead marketplace and plugin launches, aligning product, engineering, legal, security, and go‑to‑market around each one.
• Partner with engineering and design to ship secure, reliable developer products.
• Build the developer-facing marketing motion: external agent documentation and customer stories that show what MCP and CLI users have unlocked.
• Partner with the product partnerships and alliances team on co‑marketing with agent platforms like Anthropic and OpenAI, keeping a pulse on the agent ecosystem so Vanta is part of the key stacks.
• Define adoption and quality metrics, and use customer and product data to prioritize.

How to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of product management experience, taking products from strategy through to shipped outcomes.
• Experience shipping developer-facing or programmatic products (APIs, integrations, plugins, SDKs, or CLI tools), and comfort treating MCP, CLI, and plugins as product surfaces.
• Technical fluency with APIs, authentication, and developer tools. Hands‑on experience building with AI and agent tools, not just evaluating them.
• Experience taking complex products or partnerships from strategy through launch.
• Ability to connect ecosystem opportunities to customer problems and product outcomes.
• Experience building relationships with technology platforms, AI companies, developer communities, or enterprise customers.
• Experience leading cross‑functional work across product, engineering, design, marketing, partnerships, legal, and go‑to‑market.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and sound judgment in ambiguous environments.
• Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work, demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
