A leading tech firm in the United States is seeking a Product Manager to drive talent management strategy and engagement technologies. This role requires over 8 years of experience in HR technology, specifically with SuccessFactors and Qualtrics. You will lead agile teams, prioritize product deliverables, and work closely with HR and engineering teams to enhance employee experience. The position offers a competitive salary range of $136,000 to $266,000 and a supportive work culture.
Define and clearly communicate the vision and long-term roadmap for Talent Management and Employee Experience systems
Align product roadmaps with company strategy, People Team goals, and enterprise IT architecture
Translate business strategies and operational needs into actionable product strategies and detailed delivery plans
Continuously evaluate market trends, best practices, and innovations in talent management and engagement technologies
Partner with HR and other business teams to understand pain points, uncover opportunities, and align on priorities
Be the voice of the user—employees, managers, HRBPs, leaders—in discovery, design, and prioritization discussions
Provide technology leadership and decision-making, ensuring operational teams are empowered but not burdened with making technical choices
Define detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for features and capabilities
Lead agile pods with clear requirements, participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews
Balance new feature delivery with addressing technical debt in partnership with engineering leads.
Build strong relationships with engineering, architecture, and vendor partners (SAP SuccessFactors, Qualtrics)
Own and maintain the product backlog; prioritize based on business impact, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment
Balance quick wins with foundational, long-term improvements
Make informed trade-off decisions between scope, resources, and timelines
Provide transparency to stakeholders on backlog status, delivery timelines, and any issues or delays
Lead agile ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Define clear, measurable product outcomes and success metrics (e.g., adoption rates, completion rates, engagement scores)
Manage dependencies across technical and functional teams to ensure smooth, timely releases
Drive iterative improvements to product processes and user experience
Partner with Change Management and Learning teams to ensure effective rollout and adoption of new capabilities
Communicate product changes clearly and consistently to all impacted audiences
Track KPIs and product health metrics to measure business impact and adoption
Support incident and problem management when product issues arise, ensuring root cause resolution and prevention.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or related field
8+ years in HR technology product management, with deep expertise in SuccessFactors Talent Management modules (PMGM, Succession Planning, CDP) and Qualtrics HXM (engagement, surveys, 360 feedback)
Proven experience leading enterprise-scale, global HR tech projects
Strong business process understanding of performance management, succession planning, career development, and engagement best practices
Technical fluency with integrations, workflows, role-based permissions, analytics, and system architecture for SuccessFactors and Qualtrics
Skilled in Agile delivery methodologies and managing product backlogs
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence at all levels
Strong product mindset—focused on outcomes, user-centric design, and continuous improvement
3 Months – Fully onboarded, established relationships with HR, IT, and business partners, mapped current-state capabilities, identified quick wins
6 Months – Own and execute roadmap for PMGM, Succession Planning, CDP, and Qualtrics. Deliver enhancements with measurable business impact
12 Months – Successfully launch major product features, achieve adoption targets, and demonstrate measurable improvements in engagement, performance processes, and succession readiness

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
