Position: Senior Product Manager, Network Infrastructure

Ready to shape the next era of network innovation? As Senior Product Manager at Riverbed, you’ll be at the heart of a global movement empowering organizations to maximize performance and visibility for networks and applications.

What you will do

• Focus: Own the vision, definition, implementation, launch, and ongoing management of Riverbed’s NPM products, engaging users, buyers, partners, and industry leaders to guide product success with a data-driven market perspective.
• Product Strategy: Develop and execute a strategy to drive growth, adoption, and innovation for Riverbed NPM products, expanding data accessibility and reimagining customer value.
• Research: Track technology trends, engage customers, and apply user research to identify improvement opportunities, collaborating with engineering to deliver targeted enhancements.
• Measure Success: Define, measure, and track key business and product metrics with cross-functional teams to assess short- and long-term performance.
• Positioning: Work with marketing to create content that effectively positions Riverbed products to current and prospective customers.
• Market Awareness: Monitor competitors and the industry landscape to ensure effective product differentiation.
• Roadmaps: Maintain a clear 18-month roadmap to address customer needs and grow Riverbed NPM product acquisition and adoption.
• Remove Friction: Identify and address sales obstacles to streamline positioning and selling of NPM products.

What makes you an ideal candidate

• 8+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated success in product definition activities for a successful enterprise software vendor
• Experience working in the Networking / Infrastructure / Cloud / Visibility space. A track record working with SaaS-delivered applications is a plus.
• Domain knowledge in infrastructure management, SNMP, telemetry.
• Technical experience with the NetFlow protocol and data visualization tools is essential. The ideal candidate is already knowledgeable about the Riverbed NPM products.
• Success with defining new products/features (ideally including SaaS software), from concept through introduction
• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field
