Job description

Company Overview

Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people’s lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business‑critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign’s Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e‑signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

What you’ll do

This role sits at the critical intersection of technical architecture, business strategy, and go‑to‑market enablement. As the Senior Product Manager for Docusign Compliance Platform, you will be the single owner responsible for defining the product strategy that powers Docusign’s Audit and Monitor solutions, serving our largest enterprise customers. Your success will be measured by your ability to translate deeply technical, multi‑system impact into tangible compliance outcomes and ensure our most strategic initiatives launch efficiently. This role sits at the center of Docusign’s compliance platform strategy, navigating highly matrixed, cross‑organizational conversations with multiple senior stakeholders who bring competing priorities. The Senior Product Manager is expected to remain composed and objective in sensitive discussions, listen carefully, surface trade‑offs clearly, and use structured written communication to anchor alignment. They will proactively ground discussions in customer impact, data, and long‑term platform health, while ensuring that decisions and rationale are documented in a way that is transparent, repeatable, and accessible to executives and partner teams across Docusign.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy and roadmap for Docusign’s Audit and Monitor products, serving as the connective tissue between compliance platform strategy and customer experience
  • Profile high‑value business use cases in the compliance space while navigating the complexity of highly technical, distributed systems (e.g., microservices architecture)
  • Drive the vision and requirements for complex, multi‑system compliance platform changes, translating these into clear, developer‑ready functional specifications and a seamless customer experience
  • Champion launch efficiency for new compliance features and packaging, proactively identifying and clearing technical debt and communication blockers
  • Define and operationalize the success metrics (KPIs) for compliance platform performance and customer‑facing audit and monitoring features in collaboration with Data Science, using telemetry to guide continuous testing and experimentation
  • Develop a deep understanding of key customer personas, compliance workflows, and Jobs to be Done by leveraging primary and secondary research across the customer lifecycle
  • Facilitate requirements definition across teams to create detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, while rigorously identifying dependencies and relative priority with other product managers
  • Ensure seamless collaboration with Program Management, Design, and Engineering to guarantee products ship on time and to quality standards
  • Drive successful go‑to‑market and adoption by collaborating cross‑functionally with Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Support, Legal, Security, and other internal partners
