Overview

Broadcom is seeking a highly motivated, self‑driven Product Manager to lead multiple products in the Foundational and Open Solutions value stream of our mainframe software division. The role focuses on TPX® Session Management for z/OS, VM: Manager, VM: Secure, and other products running on z/OS, z/VM and z/VSE platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of vision, strategy, roadmap and release plans for new features or migration initiatives for the product set.
• Act as intermediary between market/business requirements and R&D to advocate for the product internally.
• Prioritize product features by analyzing customer needs and translating them into functional stories in collaboration with Product Owners.
• Remove roadblocks across teams to meet quality standards, project deadlines, and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Architecture teams to solution new features and capabilities, including exploring applicability of AI/ML technologies.
• Lead sales initiatives necessary for customer adoption of new product features.
• Prepare and present to executive stakeholders, including CXO leadership.
• Measure customer adoption and retention based on GTM plan and tactical execution to achieve product KPIs.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in product/service/program management or enterprise software development.
• Deep knowledge of the mainframe software industry, transformation trends, and insights.
• Experience with proprietary software partnerships, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Expertise in managing complex cross‑functional, cross‑business, cross‑disciplinary projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and effective communication skills.
• Advanced understanding of software licensing and product delivery in a B2B business model.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive level presentations.
• Ability to define Go‑To‑Market plans and lead product launches.
• Experience in triaging customer requests and leading product and engineering teams in a collaborative environment.
• Leadership, organization, and time‑management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $123,800 - $198,000. The role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and equity awards in accordance with relevant plan documents.
