Job summary

Pharma Search Partners, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to lead strategic marketing initiatives for an oncology product line, coordinating cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, and regulatory to drive brand growth.

The role focuses on developing omnichannel strategies, managing key initiatives, and ensuring compliance with PhRMA guidelines; hybrid work arrangement with onsite HQ on Tue-Thu and travel ~25%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in pharma/biotech marketing/product management.
  • Oncology marketing experience required.
  • Experience with medical, legal and regulatory approval processes for promotional programs preferred.
  • Experience with PhRMA guidelines for healthcare provider interactions to ensure compliance.
  • Experience managing agencies and strategic vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to strategic development and tactical implementation of marketing programs to maintain brand awareness and meet business objectives.
  • Lead development of strategies and tactics for brand areas including Professional/HCP, Patient/Consumer, and Managed markets.
  • Collaborate with sales to align brand plans and drive engagement.
  • Deliver and train the sales team with product knowledge and direction.
  • Design, implement and evaluate marketing activities within the product line.
  • Review marketing programs, monitor performance, and implement changes.
  • Gain market insights and measure brand initiative performance; assist in KOL development.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., managed markets, medical, regulatory) including market research to drive metrics.

The Sr. Product Manager (SPM), is responsible for contributing to the strategic development of and overseeing tactical implementation of marketing programs designed to maintain brand awareness and contribute to achievement of business objectives for assigned product. This job is responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating the marketing activities of assigned product(s) within a given product line; participates in the review of marketing programs, monitoring performance progress and implementing changes to programs as needed; facilitates the analysis of market data to identify key segment drivers, growth opportunities and business threats; manages relationships with agencies and internal business partners to align communications and strategies across the brand’s target audiences and to ensure regulatory/legal requirements are met. The SPM may lead efforts on developing strategies and tactics for one or all of the following key areas depending on brand: Professional/HCP, Patient/Caregiver/Consumer, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development including advisory boards, speaker bureau and speaker engagements, Managed markets/Key Accounts, Product contract strategies and execution when applicable.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the strategic development and tactical implementation of marketing programs designed to maintain brand awareness; contribute to the achievement of business objectives for assigned product(s).

Lead efforts on developing strategies and tactics for key areas based on brand (e.g., Professional/HCP, Patient/Caregiver/Consumer, Managed markets/Key accounts), as applicable.

Collaborate with sales teams to align on strategy and execution of brand plans, drive engagement and obtain appropriate input for marketing initiatives and strategies.

Deliver on expectations by contributing to/leading sales meetings and ensuring proper training, product knowledge & direction to the sales team.

Actively participate in the design, implementation and evaluation the marketing activities of assigned product(s) within a given product line.

Assist in reviewing marketing programs, monitoring performance progress and implementing changes to programs as needed.

Gain market insights and measure performance on brand initiatives and programs; Assist in the Key opinion leader (KOL) development.

Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., managed markets, medical, regulatory), including market research & analytics to identify, implement & drive metrics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field (Master's preferred) with 5+ years of relevant experience (e.g., sales, marketing, product management) in pharma/biotech industry.

Oncology marketing experience is required.

OR a combination of equivalent education and experience.

Some experience with medical, legal and regulatory approval process for promotional programs, preferred.

Experience working with PhRMA and Regulatory/Legal guidelines for healthcare provider interactions to ensure compliance.

Experience working with and directing agencies and strategic vendors.

Proven performance in earlier role.

Hybrid: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays onsite in Company HQ (Mondays and Fridays are work from home days)

Approximately 25% business travel
