Job description

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of an established portfolio of highly technical products used within semiconductor manufacturing.

This is a senior, commercially focused position sitting between the customer, engineering, operations and sales. You will be responsible for understanding where the market is heading, what customers need next and translating that into a clear product strategy and roadmap.

The role offers considerably more than simply managing an existing product line. The business is building its future leadership pipeline and wants someone capable of taking on increasing responsibility, with the potential to progress into a Global Product Manager position as the organization evolves.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Own the strategy, roadmap and lifecycle of an established semiconductor equipment product portfolio.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements, market trends and competitive technologies.
  • Work directly with semiconductor customers to gather Voice of Customer and identify future product requirements.
  • Build and present business cases for new products, product improvements and investment opportunities.
  • Lead New Product Introduction activity from market need and concept through development and commercial launch.
  • Work closely with R&D and engineering to translate market requirements into technical product requirements.
  • Own and monitor the commercial performance of the portfolio, including revenue, profitability, pricing and product cost.
  • Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce product costs and strengthen competitive positioning.
  • Partner globally with engineering, operations, sales, marketing and senior leadership.
  • Manage products throughout their full lifecycle, including introduction, growth, improvement and eventual obsolescence.
  • Represent the product line with customers, at industry events and across the wider global organization.
  • Take increasing ownership from senior product leadership as you develop within the business.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience within technical products or capital equipment.
  • Semiconductor industry experience.
  • Engineering or scientific degree/background.
  • Experience owning product strategy and roadmaps.
  • Strong commercial understanding, ideally including P&L, pricing, revenue and profitability responsibility.
  • Experience developing business cases and influencing investment decisions.
  • Strong Voice of Customer and customer-facing experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering teams.
  • Experience operating across global customers and internal teams.
  • The ownership, accountability and leadership potential to progress into broader product leadership.
Why Consider It?

This position is particularly suited to someone who doesn't just want their next Product Manager job, but wants a genuine next step in their career.

You'll inherit an established product portfolio, have significant influence over its future direction and work closely with global product leadership. As you establish yourself, the expectation is that you will take on increasing responsibility and position yourself for future progression within the global organization.
