Job description

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER, AMERICAN FOOTBALL PRO VIDEO

Catapult is building the future of sports performance technology, with a mission to Unleash the Potential of every athlete and team on earth. We don't just work in the sporting industry; we are actively changing it. Since 2006, our solutions have been leading the way in sports performance software, science, and data, in a world where 1% can literally mean the difference between winning and losing.

We work with over 5,000+ teams around the world, empowering coaches, managers and trainers in premier teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, EPL, AFL, NRL, NCAA and more. We provide the information they need to optimize athletes' health, game-day readiness, and performance, as well as in-game tactics.

Catapult is a sports technology company that empowers professional teams to make data-driven decisions. We deliver health, performance, video, and AI insights from the locker room to competitive environments, ensuring every decision is an opportunity to gain an advantage, sharpen performance, and build lasting success.

WE WANT PEOPLE WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT BUILDING PRODUCT FOR FOOTBALL

We are looking for a strong, highly organized Senior Product Manager to own product for our American Football Pro Video suite: the video platform that NFL and college football staffs rely on every day. Based in Boston, you will work directly with the head of American Football Pro Video and alongside engineering, UX, QA, customer success and sales to decide what we build, in what order, and why.

You will own the roadmap for a product used across desktop, iPad and web, and the customer outcomes that prove it is working. This is a senior role with many opportunities for growth and success as Catapult transitions to a new generation of video products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own the product roadmap for the American Football Pro Video suite, prioritized against clear, measurable customer outcomes.
  • Run the product operating rhythm: clear specs, release plans, launch readiness and written monthly updates, keeping distributed teams on one plan and one calendar that respects the football season.
  • Spend real time with customers, including video coordinators, coaches and operations staff across the NFL and NCAA, and turn what you see in film rooms and on the sideline into sharp problem statements and decisions.
  • Partner with engineering leads on scope and trade-offs, with UX on how the product looks and feels, and with customer success, sales and marketing on adoption and go-to-market.
  • Coach and raise the bar for the product team, and help shape how product is practiced across the group.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • 6+ years in product management, including shipping and scaling B2B or SaaS products, ideally with video, media or data at the core.
  • Direct experience delivering product for American football: NFL, NCAA or high school programs, video operations, and the realities of the season calendar (practice, game week, off-season, combine and draft).
  • Exceptional organizational skills. You run a tight backlog, a disciplined release process and written communication people rely on. You make decisions visible and you follow through.
  • Comfort with technical depth: desktop and cloud architectures, video workflows, data models and the trade-offs engineers bring you.
  • Leadership presence and ambition. You have mentored product managers or led cross-functional teams, and you want to grow into leading a product organization.

Nice to have: experience with cloud and desktop products; hardware-adjacent products (capture, cameras, wearables); a background on a coaching or video staff.

WHAT YOUR SUCCESS WILL LOOK LIKE
  • In 6 months time: you own the roadmap end to end and the teams trust it. You have been in front of customers across the NFL and NCAA, and taken a release cycle through the season.
  • In 12 months time: customer adoption and engagement have moved measurably because of decisions you made. The product rhythm runs without you in every room, you are leading the product function day to day across teams.

WHY CATAPULT?

  • We have amazing people. We promise you'll work with some of the most ambitious, intelligent people in an exciting industry, and do some of the best work of your life.
