Job summary

Nutrien seeks a strategic Senior Product Manager to lead the Dyna-Gro crop portfolio and empower a high-performing team. You will align Product Management with Area Manager teams to execute crop strategies, manage lifecycle, and drive profitable market share growth.

Strong stakeholder partnerships and measurable portfolio performance are required. You will mentor direct reports, optimize costs, and collaborate with Breeding for planning and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Crop Science or related field is required.
• Ten years of progressive seed product management experience preferred.
• Four years leading teams to achieve success through process excellence.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to travel within the US 30–50%; occasional travel to Costa Rica may be required.
• MBA or Masters in Agronomy is preferred.
• Previous experience with SAP and/or PowerBI is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create alignment between Product Management and Area Manager teams to deliver crop objectives.
• Serve as SME in crop genetics, traits, and crop viability.
• Assess market trends and relay insights to Seed Leadership.
• Lead portfolio discard and obsolescence initiatives to optimize inventory.
• Foster product management excellence through direct reports and lifecycle management.
• Coach reports on pricing strategy and market trends to solve business issues.
• Define roles, responsibilities and performance expectations to align with objectives.
• Enhance reporting talent through targeted development activities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Crop Science or related field

MBA or Masters in Agronomy

Ten years of progressive seed product management experience

Four years leading teams to achieve success through process excellence

Valid driver’s license

Ability to travel within the US 30% to 50%; occasional travel to Costa Rica

Previous experience with SAP and/or PowerBI
