Job summary

Charles Schwab's Schwab Advisor Services is seeking a Product Owner to own MCP roadmap, translating advisor needs into prioritized backlog and measurable outcomes. You will collaborate with RIAs, fintech partners, and internal partners to define high-value use cases and drive agile delivery.

This role focuses on API capabilities, Schwab Advisor Center workflows, and platform reliability, balancing innovation with risk management while guiding cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Product Owner or digital product management.
• Hands-on API experience: define requirements, integrations, or API products.
• Direct experience with Schwab Advisor Center capabilities and advisor workflows preferred.
• Proven backlog management, writing user stories, and sprint execution in an agile environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data, customer insights, and market feedback.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication, aligning teams around priorities.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for MCP by translating outcomes into clearly defined backlog items.
• Develop understanding of Schwab Advisor Center capabilities and API offerings; evaluate roadmaps for AI on platform.
• Lead product discovery with RIAs, internal partners, and fintech providers to identify high-value workflows.
• Define, track, and communicate platform and product success metrics; report progress to stakeholders.
• Partner with engineering to deliver scalable, secure platform capabilities balancing innovation and risk.
• Serve as subject matter expert on Schwab APIs and Advisor Center features.
• Champion advisor feedback, evaluating market opportunities to improve UX and business impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, compliance, and business teams.
