Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Product Launch & Lifecycle Engineer for its Columbus, OH site with hybrid flexibility. You will lead cross-functional teams across process and packaging development, ensuring lifecycle support and successful product transfers between BI sites and external CMOs for US markets.

The role requires deep expertise in pharmaceutical processes, packaging, and regulatory alignment, with a strong emphasis on problem solving, continuous improvement, and project management

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. in Chemistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, or related scientific discipline.
• Ten+ years in pharmaceutical process or packaging engineering, quality assurance, or product development.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional teams to implement product lifecycle changes and ensure market supply.
• Coordinate CPV, CSS, and Transport Qualification processes for assigned products.
• Prepare and review line trial/validation protocols and master packaging specs to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with external CMOs and BI sites for process and packaging development and registration.
• Provide feedback on potential mismatches between new products and operational capabilities.
