Job summary

Welcome Pickups in the United States (Ohio) is seeking a Senior Product Growth Analyst to understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and evaluate the impact of product decisions. You will strengthen discovery, experimentation, and measurement across our products.

You will report to the Head of Product and collaborate with our Senior Product Analyst, Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers. This hands-on role shapes how data informs decisions and drives growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics or a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills and the ability to turn complex datasets into actionable insights.
• Hands-on experience with product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude or similar.
• Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests, with a solid grasp of sample size, statistical power, uncertainty and bias.
• A proven track record of using data and experimentation to shape product decisions and drive measurable impact.
• Experience defining product metrics, measurement plans and tracking requirements.
• Practical use of AI tools in analytical work, with good judgement about their limits and how to check their output.
• A structured problem-solver who can turn ambiguous questions into clear analyses linked to customer needs and business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Proactively analyze end-to-end user behaviour funnels to identify drop-offs and growth opportunities.
• Partner with Product Managers to design and evaluate A/B and split tests, defining hypotheses, success metrics, and guardrails.
• Support gradual rollouts through proactive monitoring, identify issues early, and propose recommendations to expand, adjust, or pause releases.
• Define measurement plans and tracking requirements, collaborate with Engineers on reliable data collection, and assess impact after release.
• Combine quantitative analysis with surveys, user testing, and customer insights alongside Product Managers and Designers.
• Turn findings into clear recommendations that inform product priorities and next steps.
• Use AI to accelerate analysis and reduce repetitive work while validating outputs.
• Work closely with the team to improve analytics and experimentation practices and help teams build confidence in using evidence to make decisions.

As a Senior Product Growth Analyst at Welcome Pickups, you will help us understand customer needs and behaviours, identify opportunities worth pursuing, and evaluate the impact of our product decisions. You’ll play an important role in strengthening discovery, experimentation, and measurement across our products.

You will be reporting to the Head of Product and working closely with our existing Senior Product Analyst, Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role, with room to shape how our teams use data, test ideas, and learn from what we release.

• 5+ years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics or a similar role. Fewer years are fine if you bring strong hands‑on experience with experimentation.
• Strong SQL skills and the ability to turn complex datasets into actionable insights.
• Hands‑on experience with product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude or similar. We use Mixpanel and Superset.
• Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests, with a solid grasp of sample size, statistical power, uncertainty and bias. We use PostHog.
• A proven track record of using data and experimentation to shape product decisions and drive measurable impact.
• Experience defining product metrics, measurement plans and tracking requirements.
• Practical use of AI tools in analytical work, with good judgement about their limits and how to check their output.
• A structured problem‑solver who can turn ambiguous questions into clear analyses linked to customer needs and business priorities.
• Able to work independently and collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering and fellow analysts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
