Job summary

Bank of America in New York is seeking a senior financial analyst to lead business analysis for a Line of Business, producing financial reporting and disclosures in partnership with senior management and stakeholders.

You will apply knowledge of financial products, processes, and risks to analyze P&L attributes, establish product accounting, and approve ledger entries, while collaborating with front office, operations and technology.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing balance sheets and P&L reports with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze balance sheets and P&L reports, validating postings.
• Support strategic planning, profitability analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Oversee product/general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Partner with front office, operations, and technology to define finance processes.
• Support VBT data and MIS processes affecting multiple product controls.
• Analyze CCAR, RRP risk modeling practices within the bank.
