Job summary

Audley Travel in the United States is seeking a Senior Product Executive to support the Regional Product Manager in developing product ranges and managing supplier relationships to ensure high levels of service for clients and sales teams.

You will maintain accurate product content, provide training and support, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve offerings across markets.

Qualifications

  • Experience in product development for travel or tour operations.
  • Strong supplier relationship management experience.
  • Excellent communication with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proactive in improving product content and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Work with suppliers to deliver a quality product range and differentiation.
  • Review competitor product offerings across markets and stay updated via media and suppliers.
  • Develop information flow with sales teams to identify product gaps and consolidation.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships for optimal partnerships.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and share actions with the RPM.
  • Attend quarterly supplier meetings and assist with preparation.
  • Assist with tender processes, analysis and contracting.
  • Provide proactive product support to sales teams across all markets.
  • Manage product content for website including itineraries.

The Opportunity

As the Senior Product Executive you’llberesponsible forsupporting the Regional Product Manager(RPM)with developingaproductrange, managing supplier relationships, ensuringhigh levelsof service delivery to clients and sales teams,maintainingaccurateproductcontentand providing sales teams with training and support.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Work with suppliers to delivera qualityproductrange anddifferentiation
  • Pro-actively review competitor product offeringon a regular basis across all marketsand stay close to new developments via travel media, touristboardand supplier updates
  • Develop an effective information flow with sales teams to helpidentifyproduct gapsand product performancewhile reinforcing approach to consolidation
  • Help develop strong relationships to ensure Audleyhasan effective and functioning partnership with thevery bestsuppliers
  • Routinely evaluate supplier performance and share observations and proposed actions withthe RPMwhere applicable
  • Attendquarterlysupplier meetings,assistingwith preparation and actions
  • Attend trade events asrequired
  • Assistwith tender process,analysis andcontracting
  • Establish feedback channels with suppliers and sales teams to ensure system text, product information and client documentation isaccurate
  • Review client feedback and act to correct inaccuraciesand improve product content where applicable
  • Provideproactiveproduct support tosales teamsin all market
  • Manage helpdesk requests(Cases)
  • Managefamiliarisation (fam)tripobjectives,coordinate planning of the trip itself,briefings andfacilitatesharing of information on return.
  • Maintain accuracy of existingsuppliers andproduct components, ensuring updates from sales or suppliers are actionedin a timely manner
  • Provide product content for website including itineraries.
What you will bring to the Team

You have strong knowledge and experience in product, including new product development, ideally gained within a tailor‑made travel company or similar tour operator. You’re a confident communicator who listens, values different viewpoints, and works well with others. You take a practical, thoughtful approach to developing and improving travel products, always looking for ways to make them better for customers.

Other key experience needed:
  • Previousexperience of product development
  • Destination knowledge of New Zealand and South Pacific Islands is desirable
  • Agoodcommunicatorthat listens and seeks out different viewswith an innovative approach to product
  • Possess apositive and enthusiasticattitudewho is comfortable interacting with others, work as part of a team and share knowledge,ideas and adopt best practices
  • Flexible to changing priorities and new processes
  • Havea strong desireto get things right and be a natural organiser whocanmultitask
  • Maintain knowledge ofthe latest industry trends and news
  • Have a passion forself-developmentand to proactively improve knowledge and learn from experiences
