Brillian in New York, NY is seeking a Senior/Staff Product Engineer to help build and scale our financial platform. You will own parts of the user experience, collaborate across teams, and shape the product roadmap.

The role requires strong web experience, consumer product instincts, and the ability to work independently. We value initiative, data-driven decisions, and a passion for delivering reliable, scalable software. This is a remote-friendly role with NY-based options.

Qualifications

• Solid experience building interactive, user-facing applications with modern web tech.
• You've owned a user-facing product surface end to end - from the UX decisions through the definitions of success metrics.

Responsibilities

• Define, shape, and implement the best UX for both existing features and new ones - with a strong influence over our product roadmap.
• Collaborate closely with our customer success team, other engineers, and various stakeholders to explore opportunities, validate ideas, ship high-impact growth initiatives, and track/measure results.
• Shape frontend architecture and UI standards, guide technical decisions from state management and component structure to evolving our internal design system, refining shared patterns, and ensuring our interfaces remain consistent, accessible, and scalable across the platform.
• Communicate regularly with other stakeholders, partners, and customers to solicit requirements, seek feedback, and provide updates.
• Drive experimentation — implement A/B tests, track key metrics, optimize conversion and engagement, and drive stronger acquisition and retention.
• Leverage TypeScript+React, Relay, INTERCAL, and GraphQL to build beautiful user interfaces and experiences.
