Job summary

Tyba in the United States is seeking a Senior Product Software Engineer to join our Engineering team and lead key initiatives delivering high-value, customer-facing products. This is a full-stack role focused on Asset Operations, building scalable systems from concept to launch.

You’ll collaborate with product, policy, and commercial stakeholders in a fast-paced startup, own major parts of the engineering roadmap, and mentor others while delivering high-quality, maintainable code.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Proficiency in React.
• Experience with production GraphQL APIs (we use Strawberry).
• Motivated to learn ClojureScript quickly (ClojureScript is our frontend language)
• Ability to work cross‑functionally, synthesizing requests from non‑technical team members and external parties into well‑designed engineering solutions
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment with evolving requirements
• Basic proficiency with agentic coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, Warp Agent Mode)

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering initiatives end-to-end, including scoping, development (frontend and backend), testing, releasing, and monitoring.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Policy, and Marketing teams to align and push the product forward.
• Demonstrate a high bar for code quality to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively across time zones in a remote-heavy team.
• Design, advise, and build the next versions of our GraphQL API.
• Debug and fix production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
