Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Product Engineer IV for a leading industrial manufacturer in Washington. This hands-on role leads product design, customization, and continuous improvement, developing manufacturable products and documenting technical work.

The ideal candidate has seven or more years in product engineering within industrial manufacturing, strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while collaborating with Sales, Product Management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• At least seven years in product engineering within industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with metal, rubber and plastic components.
• SolidWorks and AutoCAD proficiency required.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings and technical docs for products.
• Translate requirements into manufacturable designs and BOMs.
• Lead design for manufacturability reviews with manufacturing engineering.
• Build and test prototypes, perform validation testing.
• Support product certification and compliance with standards.
