Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Sr. Product Engineer to own conduit and fittings product families, driving engineering execution from concept through launch.

You will manage CAD models, BOMs, specifications, and data governance across Autodesk Vault, ERP systems, and manufacturing routings. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product engineering, strong CAD skills (Autodesk Vault, SolidWorks, AutoCAD), and experience with NPD, FMEA, CTQ, DFM/DFC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical SME for conduit and fittings product families.
• Lead engineering workstreams for new product development from concept to launch.
• Own and maintain CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• Create, validate, and maintain BOMs aligned with Autodesk Vault, JD Edwards, manufacturing routings, purchasing requirements, and product specifications.
• Lead or support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) with cross-functional communication.
• Define and document Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements for drawings and designs.
• Lead or support design reviews using dFMEA and pFMEA for new products and cost reduction.
• Apply DFM, DFC, and robust design validation to improve performance and manufacturability.
• Perform competitor benchmarking and feasibility assessments for new offerings.
• Mentor Product Engineers and drafting resources.
