Job summary

Jungheinrich Lift Truck in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Product Engineer to support integration, testing, implementation, and ongoing development of lift-truck assistance systems for the North American market.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate field testing, and collaborate with engineering, product development, service teams, and customers to ensure solutions meet NA requirements and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as mechanical/electrical/mechatronics.
• Strong background in engineering, product integration and testing within material handling.
• Experience with industrial lift trucks and North American market requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration, implementation and testing of assistance systems for North America.
• Coordinate development, testing, integration and troubleshooting activities.
• Serve as primary technical contact for complex field issues and driver timely resolution.
• Plan and execute field tests, validations and proof‑of‑concept activities.
• Perform commissioning, configuration, updates and diagnostics with service tools.
• Analyze errors and performance data to identify root causes and fixes.
• Collaborate with teams to validate solutions and drive product improvements.
• Provide ongoing technical support through product lifecycle.
• Support integration of new features into NA lift trucks.
• Coordinate feedback with dealers and customers for market requirements.
• Deliver knowledge sharing and train‑the‑trainer initiatives.
• Monitor industry trends to identify enhancement opportunities.
• Participate in trade shows and customer demonstrations as needed.
