Job summary

Workhelix is seeking a hands-on Senior Product Engineer who loves writing excellent code and elevating the team. You will partner with the Head of Engineering and the Chief Product & Technology Officer to build scalable, enterprise-grade software.

In this deeply hands-on role, you will spend most of your time designing and shipping production code, while applying architectural judgment and craftsmanship to raise the overall quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience across end-to-end projects.
• Strong full-stack background; Python and React strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, relational data, and data pipelines.
• Experience building scalable, production-grade SaaS applications.
• Deep understanding of modern software architecture and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery of product initiatives across Python (FastAPI), React, and Postgres.
• Collaborate with leadership to translate product vision into scalable solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design sessions.
• Trade off speed, scalability, maintainability, and customer value.
• Contribute as a core individual contributor delivering production software.
• Improve testing, observability, deployment, and code quality.
• Work with Product, Design, Data Science, and Forward-Deployed Teams.
• Help evolve the platform and reduce technical debt.
• Assist in hiring by assessing and welcoming top engineers.
