Job summary

MAIA, a Berlin-based AI platform, seeks a Product Engineer to own features from concept through production and continuous improvement. You will engage with customers, analyze usage data, and shape product experiences that integrate LLMs and coding agents into daily workflows.

You’ll work remotely from Germany, collaborating with a team that values clear communication, strong architectural sense, and pragmatic, user-centered design. Competitive compensation and equity are offered.

Qualifications

• Solid software engineering across backend and frontend.
• Experience with TypeScript, Python or Go, preferably a statically typed language.
• Product experience: talking to customers and turning requirements into daily use.

Responsibilities

• Own features from concept to production and continuous improvement.
• Talk to users, join meetings, analyze usage data to identify where MAIA helps most.
• Write concepts and prototypes to test ideas quickly and slice features for early delivery.
• Build across the full stack: data model to user interface, with design and quality in mind.
• Shape how users interact with MAIA and ensure agents perform reliably across steps.
• Measure feature impact with usage data, feedback, and evals and iterate accordingly.
